What we offer:

  • Classes taught by qualified, trained teachers that have a heart for your child and for Christian education (Fridays from 12:30 until 3:00).

  • Choirs, Science Experiments, Beginning Art, Band, are just a few examples of classes we offer.

  • Tutoring and Private Music Lessons including piano, violin, trombone, trumpet, and voice (available by appointment only).

  • Field Trips at least once per month.

  • Programs – one per semester.

  • Testing available during our spring semester.

  1st Hour (12:30-1:10)

 

  K4 – 2nd Animal Explorers                                                   Sandra Cates

  Students will study a fiction or nonfiction book based on an animal and then follow up with games, activities, and crafts all centered around the animal
  of the week. 

 

   K5 – 12th   Violin Class*                                                      Becca

  For beginners and those who have already been in the class

  

  3rd – 6th Swimming Creatures & Ocean Science                 Janie Thompson 

  Grab your scuba gear and come explore with us as we discover the ocean and the amazing aquatic animals that God formed and fashioned on the 5th day of
  creation.  Will include class experiments.

 

  3rd – 10th    Beginner Band*                                                 Mr. Hershberger

  For beginners and those who have already been in the class

 

 

  7th – 12th The Great Smoky Mountains                              Aaron & Tammy Barnhart

  Come learn about our beautiful Smoky Mountains. Bro. Aaron & Mrs. Tammy will teach you the history and heritage of the area and also give some
  great tips of how to enjoy them!

 

   9th -12th Writing from Research $15 (1/2 Credit)             Mrs. Swain

  This half credit high school class will really prepare students for high school and college level papers. Outside work must be done each week. A grade
 
and ½ of a high school credit will be given. The $15 will be used to purchase a textbook.

 

  9th – 12th    High School Spanish I (Full time)  $25         Mrs. Amet

  From 12:30 to 3:00 (other than break for chapel) Mrs. Amet will be teaching a full Spanish I curriculum. Homework will be assigned. This is the second semester

  2nd HOUR (1:15-1:55) 

 

  K4 – 2nd Mission Impossible: From Phonics to Reading    Martha Rogers

  Come learn Phonics! This class will start with the beginning sounds and include many fun games and drills.

 

  K4 – 2nd Bookworms Club                                                   Janie Thompson
  Join "Mrs. Janie" as she reads aloud a new story each week, with a craft or fun class project included!

 

  2nd – 6th Elementary Choir                                                    Joanna

  Pracice reading music and singing parts as we “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord.” Ps 100:1

 

  3rd – 6th Beginning Sewing    $5                                           Bethany Sparks

  Come learn the basics of sewing and using patterns!

 

  3rd-12th Penmanship Mastery                                                Mrs. Swain

  Manuscript, Cursive, and Calligraphy will be taught and practiced. Fun projects will be included.

 

  7th – 12th    Music Theory II                                                  Mr. Hershberger

  Learn the notes, chords, and rhythms that make music wonderful. This is the second semester of this class. If you do not have a book, you will need to
  purchase it for $15.

  Come study the Bible with Mrs. Becca!

 

  7th -12th Understanding Your Bible                                      Mr. Swain

  One of the main keys to understanding your Bible is understanding the structure of the Bible. Come learn more about God’s Word with Mr. Swain!

  Come and explore dinosaur facts and truths from a Biblical perspective!

 

  K4 – 2nd Exploring Math Mountain                                     Martha Rogers

  Math facts will be drilled and taught from beginning numbers to the top of the number mountain!

 

  3rd - 6th Men on a Mission                                                    Mr. Hershberger

  Young men will learn how to treat others and prepare to face the challenges this world will bring. This will include manners, exercise, and
  toughness.  P.E. Clothes should be brought.

 

  3rd – 6th Women in History                                                  Mrs. Barnhart

  God can use you to accomplish great things in the future! Come learn more about the women of the past so that you can change the future!

 

  7th-12th       Teen Choir                                                         Pastor

  Come sing!

 

  7th-12th Typing    (1/2 Credit, $10 if receiving credit)       Mrs. Canales

  Students will learn the correct fingering on the keyboard while working on improving speed and accuracy. Students will need to tell Mrs. Canales if they
 
would like to receive high school credit so extra assignments may be given to complete the credit time required.
